You may have heard of CBD and the myriad of benefits it has to offer. If you haven’t, read about it here: How CBD Works . To help people get this wonderful compound into their bodies, I want to help explain to you how to infuse coffee beans with CBD.
Choose the right coffee beans.
The first step to making great coffee is choosing the right beans. The type and roast of your beans are only a couple of factors that will determine how your brew tastes. For example, if you want to make a cup of espresso, you’ll want to look for an espresso roast or at least a dark roast. If you want something milder, opt for a light or medium-roast coffee bean.
Take a look at some of the best coffees from around the world below:
Arabica Beans
These are the most common type of bean used in coffee. Arabica beans are grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. They can be found in most grocery stores and supermarkets, but they are not as strong as other varieties of beans due to their lower caffeine content. This makes them ideal for people who like lighter roasts or who prefer decaffeinated beverages.
Robusta Beans
Robusta beans come from Africa and Southeast Asia, which is where they get their name from — “robust” means “strong.” The taste of these beans is generally considered more bitter than other varieties because they contain more caffeine than arabica beans and have a stronger flavor profile overall. Robusta beans are often used in instant coffee because.
Grind the coffee beans and decarboxylate.
Grind the coffee beans and decarboxylate
The next step is to grind the cannabis and decarboxylate it. Decarboxylation is a chemical reaction that activates THC and CBD, turning them into psychoactive compounds. This process also reduces their taste, so it’s not necessary to use ground-up buds or leaves. You can use whole buds or leaves as long as they are dried out prior to grinding them.
Place your ground cannabis in a glass bowl with a lid, then place the bowl in an oven set at 240 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.

Combine oil, coffee, and brown sugar.
There are several ways to make a cup of coffee, but most people are familiar with the drip method. In this process, hot water passes through finely ground coffee beans and into a filter. The resulting brew is then poured into cups or mugs.
While this may be the most common method of making coffee at home, it’s not the only one. There are plenty of alternatives — such as cold brew coffee and pour-over — that deliver unique flavors and experiences.
But no matter which type you’re using, there’s one thing they all have in common: brown sugar. The sweet stuff helps balance out bitter notes in dark roasts and can add depth to lighter roasts as well. Here’s how to use brown sugar while brewing your favorite cup of joe at home.
bake and cool the mixture
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, mix egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Add cooled sugar syrup and mix well using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed for about 4-6 minutes until mixture thickens up.
Transfer mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish or similar sized pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until top is golden browned in color. Cool completely before cutting into squares or bars (optional).
Put the mixture into a jar and store in a cool dark place.
1.To make the lip balm, put the shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler (or use a heat safe glass bowl over a pot of boiling water) and melt the oils together.
2.Once melted, remove from heat and add the beeswax pellets to the mixture. Stir until completely melted and well combined.
3.Stir in essential oils (if desired), as well as vitamin E oil or rose hip seed oil (for extra nourishment).
4.Pour into jars or tins, filling to just below the top of the container so that there is room for it to expand while cooling down (you can always fill them more after they have cooled).
CBD-infused coffee beans are easy to make at home.
Caffeine and CBD are both stimulants, so it makes sense that people have been looking for ways to combine the two. There are a variety of ways to do this, and we’ll go over some of them here.
The first thing to note is that you shouldn’t try any of these methods unless you have access to high-quality CBD-infused beans. If you don’t know where to find those, check out our guide on where to buy CBD-infused coffee beans.
CBD Infused Coffee Beans
The easiest way to infuse your coffee with CBD is by using already-made CBD-infused coffee beans. You can find these in dispensaries, or online at sites like Green Roads World or Treatibles. The only downside is that they tend to be expensive compared with regular coffee beans.
Hemp Oil Extracts
Another option is hemp oil extracts, which can be added directly into your coffee or taken separately as capsules or drops under your tongue. These are a little easier on your wallet than infused coffee beans, but they don’t taste as good and aren’t as effective either
